It is a common knowledge in short men that short men can live longer on avg than tall people but I also found some opposite proofs:

In modern times, despite being linked to a higher risk of mortality from a few certain types of cancer (Aarestrup et al., 2015;Batty et al., 2009), tall people seem to live longer, usually because of belonging to a higher socio-economic stratum (the question whether they are taller because of better life conditions or they live under better conditions because they are taller still needs to be answered) (Hermanussen, 2013). Despite that, it seems that in centenarians the associations between stature and longevity are opposite (Samaras, 2014), possibly mainly due to genetic reasons

And

Height is positively associated with better health since taller individuals are less likely to suffer from asthma, chronic pain, as well as acute cardiac, cardiovascular, and respiratory diseases (Engeland, Bjørge, Selmer, & Tverdal, 2003;Leon, Davey Smith, Shipley, & Strachan, 1995;Perelman, 2014). Taller individuals also live longer, are less likely to commit suicide, report fewer mental health problems, and are generally healthier than shorter people (Batty et al., 2009;Koch, 2011;Lundborg et al., 2014;Magnusson, Gunnell, Tynelius, Davey Smith, & Rasmussen, 2005;Whitley et al., 2010).

Lifestyle affects how long a person lives....

Height doesn't affect.

Shorter people do live more time because they have less body mass and smaller organs. This makes shorter people less likely to have cancer because they have less cells. They also have a smaller digestive tract which leads to less calories. Also a smaller heart which gives a smaller risk of heart attack.

Women also live longer than men because they are shorter and have less muscle and less skeletal mass.

My friends said women lived longer because in the past men had to go out and work, and most dangerous jobs that required lots of energy were done by men, like building a house. I don't know if it's true but there are other factors as well.

Male sex hormones decrease immune function and increase the risk for cardiovascular diseases. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0003347204001575

“Estrogen appears to be protective—it has been shown to have an antioxidant role,” says Sachdev. A 2013 review in the International Journal of Endocrinology found evidence that estrogen can prevent the kind of DNA damage that leads to disease. That review also turned up evidence that estrogen can help maintain normal, healthy cell function.

After my researches across the studies, I think it depends on your methodology of studies, so whether taller or shorter people live longer can't be conclusive.

There is some shockingly poor information on this thread.

If you review meta-analyses (the best form of evidence available) there is a consistent trend showing that shorter people live longer. There are lots of theoretical explanations for this such as certain gene polymorphisms but ultimately it comes down to shorter people have lower incidence of cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular risk.
