I believe it will get better and better but what did your doctor say about this pain? Is it okay to have knee pain like this? How about your bending, is there any problem about the bending?

Update:

I’m in a real weird situation right now.  Now that a decent amount of pain is gone away, I feel so bad that I didn’t lengthen the full amount I wanted. I wanted around 4cm.  I hate myself for this.  The thing is, when you are in that initial pain phase, you ask if the pain will ever go? I know it’s silly to think that but that’s just what my mind was like.  Now I am thinking about maybe getting the surgery again, since my bones aren’t healed yet, and continuing the lengthening. But the doctors I spoke to said that they will have to remove the nail and insert a new one because of the slight translation deformity I have. You will see it in the X-rays.  My doctor told me that if I don’t decide to lengthen and just stay how I am, I should heal fine and the slight deformity shouldn’t affect my mobility at all. It will just stick out a tiny bit cosmetically.

I am currently walking in one crutch, and feel a pain in my left knee mainly when walking. I’m pretty sure it’s from a screw but no 100%.  I hope this pain goes away soon. My right knee is better.  I have been a bit lazy with physio recently but will start up again from today. Just the whole mental rollercoaster made me slack off. Why did I do this surgery and not even get any real length?

What do you guys think?  Is it safe to fix my tibias and continue lengthening? Like I said, the Drs I have spoken to said that they will have to fix the deformity by removing the nail and then reinserting a new one.

Now that I’ve felt the pain of this surgery, I know what to expect if I get it done again. Let me know what you guys think please.

Thanks everyone.

Here are my latest X-rays that are 3 weeks old:

dont worry 30 minutes of non stop walking is quite alright, both ankles should be sore after

make sure to stand for 10-15 minutes in one spot 2-3 times a day too to put body weight on the legs

so what happened with the xrays?

Just posted them now bro

Depends. What was the reason you stopped lengthening at 1cm? Just the pain?

It was both pain and a family emergency, but mainly it was due to the family emergency.  The pain was difficult too, but if the family thing didn’t come up, I would have lengthend my desired amount.

Also, depends on what ?
