@Shogun - I believe someone sent me a video of him after his lengthening way back. Didn't he do some crazy amount of length though? If so, I have to be careful with showcasing things like that bc even though he might've recovered others might not and I don't want to portray the wrong idea. We'll see...
@JamesBrown - Thanks I appreciate it! Just want to provide patients with as much LL info as I can.
@prospect - Let's just say something is in the works. Dr. Paley said he wanted me to wait for him to update you. Stay tuned
@Oswego - Thank you! Glad the content has been a helpful resource.
@SpeedDialer - I know the best way to do that is to take your time when moving. There's no rush. Use wheelchair, walker, shower chair, elevated toilet seat, learn the proper seat-to-bed-to-wheelchair-to-walker transfers, improve upper body and core strength for easier pivoting and get a caretaker for harder tasks (shopping, taking out trash, washing dishes, washing laundry etc. you get the idea) and you'll be good!
By the way - here's a new video that I put together of Leon (a LON femur lengthening patient who did full 8cm) showing his 10month post-LL physical abilities (jump rope, jumping and sprinting). I'm very impressed!
