Hi All,
Quick question, I am in the process of applying to schengen visa to proceed with my LL surgery with Dr Giotikas , from your experience which case is better for application :
1- Medical Purpose Visa where they would need a letter from the medical institution and I guess proof that I am able to fund the cost.

2- Tourism in this case they would ask for Full travel itinerary.

Not sure if I applied for the latter option, would that be a problem in case the authority discovered that the main purpose is to get treatment in the country ?

and in terms of timing and/or likelihood of acceptance which option is better
