Hello all,
I have been a long time lurker around these forums but never had the courage to actually post or even consider CLL. A little about myself, I am currently 21 years old and am standing at a height of 173cm (I'm Australian so we use cm - but for others I think it's about ~5'8"?). Anyways, I was quite the late bloomer during highschool and have suffered from heightism for as long as I could remember.
Everyday, I would research on ways to increase my height. I have resorted to exercise, shoe lifts, proper eating, stretches, yoga, hairstyles with volume, and more. However, I still feel as though my height is inadequate and have finally decided to consider CLL.
My plan of action is to get LL (tibia) so I can reach at least 180cm.
From my research and the opinion of others, I have heard that you continue to grow even up until the age of 25. Now, I've stayed at the same height for almost a year and a half so I highly doubt that I can grow anymore (but what do you guys think?).
I'm not so sure about my father because he ran away when I was still young, but my mother is vietnamese and measures around 150cm (in case you're wondering about my genetics).
Now, my question for you lovely people is:
A. Can I safely get around 7cm through lengthening my tibia?
B. How long will this certain procedure take (including recovery time)?
C. Is there anything I can do beforehand to help increase the success rate of surgery? (e.g. certain exercises, building muscle, certain foods)
I will post pictures of myself soon including mock pics of the LL on my tibia.
Thank you in advance for all your help and I hope we can all help each other out.
I think it takes a lot of courage to go down this path so please be supportive of me and others.
