How to minimise risks?

Hi, I am considering having 6cm femur lengthening, I am currently 170cm and my target is 176 or 176.5 it depends on lengthening situation.
I'm planning 3 months 10 days lengthening span.
But I am really concerned about complications, when I check other people's diaries I saw a lot of complications.
I think it seems like LL patients are not transparent enough. I don't know but I really wanna get that surgery probably I will.
I think taking crippling risks is better than life-term crippling depression. I have height dysmorphia like majority of LL patients.
But I wanna improve my body also minimise risks. I know risk will always be there, there is nothing comes with zero risk. But as long as its possible I wanna minimise it.
Things I do to lower risks
- Eating well during lengthening and taking enough protein to faster recover
- Having a professional doctor
- Having strong legs
- Exercise during lengthening
- No smoke, alcohol etc.
- Taking vitamins and supplements
- Stretching my legs as much as possible, within this year my goal is opening my legs zero

How to prevent non-union
- I am relatively young (20yo) and I am considering having this surgery at my 21. Age is important factor and also I'm planning to set my lengthening rate around 0.65mm per day. And also eating well during lengthening seems important. But I'm still really scared of getting crippled for all my life.
How to prevent Duckass
- I found out people recommend you to exercise during lengthening to prevent it. And also they say Slight duckass gets normal after few months of lengthening.
How to prevent bow-shaped legs
- I don't know it seems pretty ugly, and I don't wanna have it. But information about how to prevent it is still ambiguous. I found out some people say exercise during lengthening prevents it. Maybe weight bearing idk.
How to prevent infections
-Hygiene comes at first and I think they are right. I think I will buy a lot of sweatpants and change them everyday during lengthening and also do antibiotic creams work?
Fat embolism
- I've got really scared of this one, man I don't wanna die. Unfortunately is there any precautions for it? Idk..
Nerve Injury, Muscle Contractures
- I think lower lengthening rate is a solution.
Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
-Taking anticoagulants..
AXIAL DEVIATION
- I think exercise is also solution for this one, one day if I get LL I will exercise as much as I can..

These are my concerns, I'm looking for some replies and all contributions are appreciated.
We can't zero the risk, but we can minimise it so I hope its helpful.
You can also recommend supplements or foods to to speed up the healing process

For body proportions
My tibia/femur length will be 0.79 after 6.5 cm femur lengthening, recommended is 0.80
My arms are taller for my body, so I'm lucky in this aspect

hey dude I'm the same height as you and consider the same lengthening on femur, 6cm.

you maybe want to chat abt it on d or something?

To lower the risk for DVT or PE i'd also recommend to do ultrasonic scans of the legs every two weeks. You should also consider to  monitor your blood oxygen levels by using a smart watch.

You can cut all risks by 50% by doing one leg first and do the other leg after six months. This would give you almost full mobility without using a wheelchair or a walker.

I guess the best way to "prepare" for it is to get in shape, quit smoking/drinking, get a checkup and opinion from non LL-affiliated Doctors, and etc. I wouldn't really focus on the possibility of dying from this surgery since the chances are somwhere in the range of 1/2000 to 1/3000 if you don't have prior medical condition and if the Doctor give proper pre/post-operative care.

If you really are worried and you can't overcome it just don't do it since it will get a lot worse when you take the dive since you can't reverse it.

The risk of doing CLL is more worth taking than remaining 170cm for the rest of your life. Remember that.
