belief in god and undergoing cll
« on: March 11, 2022, 11:23:06 PM »

i think anyone who undergoes cll and is a religious person is just dumb. because if he were to believe in religion then he should be satisfied with what god has given him . undergoing cll is changing god's plan and a  criticism of his ability. i am an athiest so i dont have moral dilemmas any thoughts?

Yes I got your point. But then we could argue is having haircut, getting tattoo or any kind surgery insult against God.

My personal opinion is, if you do ll surgery to improve your life I dont see any wrong about that. Especially because its doesn't take anything away from anyone else and it doesnt harm yourself. It might even relief depression etc. and help you enjoy life more. Actually we should be very grateful that operation like this is even possible.

Btw if anyone has an answer from religious perspective why God is so partial towards some people giving them a lot of good traits even though they might be criminals, but unfair to others though they are decent human beings??

Dumbest logic I've heard. Ever considered that some people stunted their height at a young age due to number of factors and couldn't reach their maximum height that god gifted them?

Wouldn't those factors be caused by God too?

thats the point, why would someone who is so  omnipotent be unfair to some people?  he could have given all people  a fair height.

Nobody told or should tell you that God must be fair. That's why I am always comparing short men to patients with devastating incurable diseases or disorders cuz in terms of emotional functioning and mental health, I can't tell any difference from them.

Depends how your belief in god is, does he determine your entire destiny, or only how you're made while the rest is up to you. I'm not an expert in these arguments so I don't know how to elaborate further.
