How safe is this surgery?

How safe is this surgery?

Short term - risks of PE, embolsim, infection etc.

Long term - are there enough studies to proof that this surgery will no develop anything "bad" to the body? I saw someone writing about leukumia.

Also, I apologize 4 my english.

It depends non your own acceptance of the complications.
Due to my severe height dysphoria I don't mind safety at all what I am worried about is whether I can keep resilient during the procedures when facing with pains

I am talking more about statistics... What is the chance  of developing PE, infection, embolism etc?

Short term, the risks of PE, embolism, infection, etc. are very low with a competent doctor. These risks are virtually non-existent when doing external tibias, especially.

Long term--it's harder to say, but people have been doing limb lengthening for decades--even longer when you factor in those who need it for limb length discrepancies--and there hasn't been any indications of long-term complications. The exception, of course, is if you lengthen far too much.

(BTW, watch out those surgeons' propagandas. Maybe some studies are inflating the success rates.)
