Impossible to move from China to Paley's?
« on: January 28, 2022, 11:22:34 PM »

Hey guys I am wondering if there is any Chinese who is fixated on Paley and getting ready to leave from China for America to Paley's on this forum.
Or others who can offer me enough information about how Paley copes with barriers of moving out like whether he can offer medical visa for patients or not and etc.
I'd kill for doing this surgery but just dunno how to deal with COVID-19 st. I also have no experiences about moving abroad.
Fk Covid, fk height, fk this world

No. What I am dying for is Paley's Option 3 and not to mention there is no rebreaking surgery in China, there is no femur lengthening in China either.
Otherwise I would not keep burning with anxieties and hatreds. If I cannot get it I will consider killing myself cuz no Option 3 I would still maintain short and that's a very depressing story.

You don’t need Paley to rebreak the bone; all cosmetic ll surgeons do it. Besides, Dr. Peng will lengthen up to 8 cm; MDOW did about that much with Dr. Peng and is doing great.

But what about the rest lengthening amount?AFIK going beyond 5cm on tibias and beyond 7cm on femurs need you to rebreak and external fibial 7.5cm lengthening is kinda crazy so that's why I have no alternative but to move to Paley's

Lengthening past 5 cm doesn’t require a rebreak. A rebreak is usually needed if you want to go past 15-20% of your initial limb length, though.

Even though my start height was only 164 cm, I never considered external because it’s just too scary for me. I know many people who have done external don’t think it’s that bad, but it’s just not an option for me and I’d rather be 164 cm. I think CLL is becoming more popular these days because there’re many people like me. So I understand why Mulholland Dr won’t do it in china. Lucky star came to Europe from China. Maybe you can ask her about how she got her visa.

I understand externals might seem daunting, but they’re actually the safest form of LL surgery for the tibias.

The rate of serious complications with stryde and precice is only 1% according to Paley. I think all CLL methods are safe with good doctors, but ya externals is the safest and allows you to lengthen more.
