I'm a youngcel interested in getting 13 cm taller with LL.
« on: January 23, 2022, 01:08:49 AM »

Hi im 165 cm at the moment, being that in SWEDEN is pure suifuel, I get height mogged by girls everyday and soon i'll be height mogged by middle schoolers :'(. Anyway luckily for me my parents got a lot of dough but I can't convince them to pay for my LL surgeries they say ITS PERSONALITY AND YOUR CARRER AND WORK ETHIC ITS IN YOUR MIND. I honestly don't have many good arguments against it beside for maybe statistics and dating evidence. Anyways can you guys bring up some very compelling arguments, analogies,?
Which doctor can safely lengthen both of my legs by 13 cm, also heard its dangerous to lengthen the fibula and femur at the ame time which is kind of a bummer.
I heard from this instagram surgeon guy shahab mahboubian that one could lengthen by 14.5 cm, seem hella sus since everyone says 13 cm is the absolute limit the guy is also on the pricey end so maybe he's legit.
Any advice or money saving tips please share down below :).

To start things off, there really isn't a such thing as a strict "limit" per se: there's ranges that are considered very safe, safe, and increasingly dangerous, respectively. This depends primarily on your initial limb lengths, what type of lengthening you're doing, etc. Lengthening 10-15% of your tibias and femurs is considered very safe, with 15-20% considered relatively safe, and 20%+ considered more risky. However, you could still lengthen 10 cm per segment and be fine: people have done it before, though it is risky territory and will require a long recovery. Should you be one of those people? I wouldn't do it, and you shouldn't unless you're in fantastic health, young, and have a top doc--even then, I'd be worried.

Now, back to your situation: measure your tibia and femur lengths according to these videos, then see what you get.

After doing that, you should peg your maximum at 15-20% of those limb lengths. I heavily advise starting with the tibias, seeing how you recover, then doing femurs if you still feel dysphoria about your height. Externals are best, but lengthening over nail or lengthening and then nailing are both great, too (I'm considering the latter).

Why do you suggest starting with tibias? Most users I've seen here seem to recommend femurs first.

What is a youngcel? This is not an incel forum. Please dont use that kind of terminology here. Do 10cm on tibia and femur total and call it a day. Definitely dont do 10cm per segment

Just ask your mother 'If my dad was only 145cm tall, would you still likely to crush on him as your dating and marriage material?'(according to the fact that women are putting more emphasis on male's height than that put on women's heights by males). It can kill 2 birds with one stone: Judge how true to the core your mother is with your father and what her true colors are.
If she can understand the intentions of this question then she will for sure let you go for LL.
BTW, the way I heard about Mahboubian is a good doctor, but you gotta know once you can't tolerate the pains during the procedure then it's your body that is warning you against lengthening any further and probably you cannot reach 13cm before you can endure the pains. IMO a good doctor will let you stop lengthening as long as you cannot endure the surgeric pains and no universal rules about how much one can lengthen at most.

I can't figure out why he is thinking himself as a young incel just bc he is attempting to do LL either.

Tibias are way harder than femurs, so you're getting the hardest segment out of the way first.

Yeah that's true but tibial lengthening can enable you to become visually taller more than femural lengthening and if your tibias are short enough, then it's very wise to lengthen your tibias at first.
