limb lengthening with monorails
« on: May 29, 2014, 09:13:51 PM »

Hello, i want to know your opinions about this:
I have seen a video of a very reputable doctor that is doing monorail to dwarfs, he can length 40cm them in various surgerys.
why did he use monorail? i have always read that monorail is a very bad option, and a very very bad option for femurs, but he is doing that.
here is a video of the doctor i say   min 31:

I think is bilateral. I phone his hospital. He charges 175 euros for   consultation. And i have heard that 30.000 euros per segment. But only for persons under 165 . Im 165 so i think i will have an apointment with him and ask some questions

If you do see him, ask him why he puts one end of each fixator on each segment.  That's something I've never seen before.

Its the same segment. It look like the fixator is in the two segments because the femurs are extremely short because there arent lenghtened yet

Idk why people are scared or distrusting of monorails. If I get my tibs done it'll be 5-6 cm monorails. The less cutting and drilling on my legs the better.

You'd have to wear the fixators for a few months longer than other methods is the only downside so some sex positions may be difficult during then? I mean, unless you bang your tibias a lot I don't see how it's that much of an issue. Some of the monorails also only cover 1 side of the leg.

I don't think most people are scared of monorails on the tibs.  But on the femurs it seems like internal methods are substantially better.
