I didn't write a diary but I can give you what I think. A LL diary would mostly surrounded with Pain, Pain, Pain....pain and doing PT. Basically you go from a baby with weak legs learn how to walk again. That's why I did not write diary to demotivate anyone because the process is long, boring, frustrating BUT the end is GREAT. That's how most diaries are

I don't know.  If there were a way, there wouldn't be any fakes on here.

Sometimes patients choose a doctor and then hype him up to justify their choice to themselves.  Some patients have a good experience and share it.  Positivity doesn't mean fake.

Patients who are currently lengthening, do not have the focus and concentration to write a daily diary. I am saying it from experience. In the first month, I was only focused on feeling my pain, clicking, training, and sleeping. My brain was too tired to do anything else, especially after my daily training routine. Only in the second month, I started going out more after training when I started to feel less and less pain.

Now i see. So we should be suspicious about all of them. Especially all the reviews and patient stories made for Turkish doctors seemed fake to me.

Some people have an easier time than others.  Even though my story is retroactive, I was in Beijing with several people who were writing diaries on the old forum during treatment.

True. I also updated more frequently last year when I experienced more problems and more pain with femur procedure. I wasn’t updating my tibia journal that often because most of time things went smoothly and I often had nothing to update.

Depends on what method and circumstance given. I did lon and was alone for 4 months during covid, lost 40pounds and fatigued all the fk time, very hard time Jesus let alone writing a diary

Good question, how do you tell?  Well I read a fairly lengthy one in Spain and it seemed way too easy for this man..."took a pain pill and went to sleep", (that did not happen to me very often),  complete flexibility after 3 months pics show (I am still stiff).  It was just a piece of cake more or less it is implied.

I can tell you it is not a piece of cake recovering.  It takes time and there are months of pain.  It may take a year to walk normal again.  You can't have the surgery and go back to week after 2 or 3 weeks because you need regular PT.  When I read how easy LL is then that is my clue to a manipulated surgery account.  Be prepared for a longer than advertised recovery is my recommendation.  LL is not easy and reasonable expectations will make your recovery better knowing the real pitfalls. 8)  I am not saying LL is not doable just know what can happen, not what someone might glorify or misrepresent.  I had good results, the doc did well but was way beyond any accounts I have read here.

By the way, get your pain meds arranged.  Your PT arranged.  Get your dietary supplements arranged and being physically fit will enable you to recover sooner.

Could you please give us more details about your recovery process? I mean I have a concern about the pain issue which makes me think twice about this surgeries.

3 yrs ago a web engineer or one guy who is expertise at Network Principle or whatnot have found out that there were loads of ghost writers writing diaries in Limb Lengthening Patient Experiences cuz their IP addresses could not stick to their locations that they narrated in their diaries and the only reason for this was that they were ghost writers.
But not all of them were ghost writers (at least testified through their IP addresses), but still that means we must heighten our vigilances about the diaries and that guy has quited this forum for a long time so I dunno if he really quited or just changed his username.

How to spot fake diaries and real diaries?
« Reply #15 on: February 07, 2022, 03:28:00 AM »

Hey I wanna throw this question long time ago but I was worried about being threaten by any means by some servants of surgeons on here so until today do I dare make this question.
This question was actually answered by a web engineer/developer 4 yrs ago and I saw he had found out that many writers here mismatched their real IP addresses to their locations during the procedures which means they were even not located at their place where they were doing their surgeries so that was why he was skeptical whether every writer on this forum was real or just 'ghost writer'.
So I wanna make this question to encourage any LLer who is expertise at LL to give tips/resolutions about how to spot fake or real diaries.
As for that developer/engineer, I cannot quote his statements straightforwards cuz that topic was discussed long time ago and I cannot find the original thread in Off topic so that made my narrations kinda implausible but I am not frightening any LLer off this surgery cuz I myself am willing to do this surgery therefore there ain't no points I persuading myself out of surgery as well.

A web developer/engineer who can find out user's IP address can solve this problem but unfortunately none can do this currently.
