Negative impact of wearing shoe lifts
« on: December 17, 2021, 08:56:43 AM »

Can shoe lifts damage your knees and potentially prevent you from having LL surgery? I have been wearing them for almost 7 years.

Wearing shoe lifts won't necessarily cause permanent knee injuries or similar stuffs I think. And wearing too high lifts will make your walk stiff and uncomfortable so that you will do nothing but to put them off, so it's a piss in the wind to discuss the damages when it comes to too high lifts.

I would avoid shoe lifts of more than 2 inches for many years, extrapolating from high heel shoes in women. But in many women, even using higher heels don't cause severe harm (sometimes however, it happens: knees and column problems).
