He has some different post-op videos about 1 year or 5 years or 10 years .
Remember that this is a surgery we all want to keep secret and move on .
It's hard for a doctor have CLL patients come back to them for a demonstration , especially because most of them are not local .
I would not fly back for it tbh,like anyone, unless you have some issues which we hope not.
Here on the forum most members are not former patients but rather perspective ones like me , and the veterans mostly did it long ago and with external methods .
I have many concerns too but not that you will be crippled (from a very good surgeon) .
If I could be 100% in daily life and 85/90% in high level activity I would be down for it but the issue here is that :method,doctor , amount of lengthening and discipline of each one plays a role so it's hard to make a general rule .
If this things crippled ppl on a daily basis it would not be legal , more then that I would wonder how much we can retain in terms of athletic ability .
