Hello everyone,
I have read many of the betz patients' diaries here. One question to the former Betz patients: What's the largest available betzbone? I know G-nail and (Stryde) have 11mm and 13mm nails but haven't seen anywhere that Betz's patients had a 13mm nail. Is there even a 13mm Betzbone available ?

Obviously the size of the nail depends on the bone canal of patient but curios whether any of Betz's patients had a 13mm nail.

I have the 13mm nail. The 12mm one is supposedly just as sturdy due to different material composition. The 11mm one is indeed where most deformities in the nail occur, especially if the individual is overweight.

Thanks mate! Good to know you have the 13mm nail. Did you run into any issues with it ?
I'm cosidering Betz for my femurs, but looks like he has no appointments till March/April 2022.

Some people having clicking issues, but this is also the case with the Guichet nail. It really depends on the rate of your bone consolidation.
