For people that have done LL, has it changed your life? If so, how did it change your life?

I'm not even off crutches and my life has changed. Got way more responses on dating apps, and found a new girlfriend who was taller than me pre-LL.

Being able to tell others that you're 5'11 or 6' is incredible. 5'7.5 was a shameful number. Since short guys don't reveal their height, only tall guys tell the number. This results in selection bias where girls only hear tall numbers, and have disorted preceptions of the ideal male height.

I am now proud my height instead of being ashamed by it. As my gait recovers, I'd imagine my life to be even better.

Yeah. I hope it doesn't take too long, though my duckass is pretty severe because I've been slacking on my stretching, haha.

Did it for dating in general. Adult women value height more than face. Dating short men is like us dating ugly women. Unbearable, so I don't blame them. LL changes lives.

yea if money was not a thing i would have it done by now with dr. paley. but for most people money is a big factor because most people are the opposte of rich. and i cant pull 100k out of my ass like that. i have to save up for years which i then could invest in something more financially benificial. guess why people go to cheap doctors  ;D if you can afford dr. paley you probably dont need LL anyways since you are rich. and if you are rich you can pull woman even if you are a midget like Lorenzo Insigne.

This gives me a lot of hope, wow. 5'11 or 6' is my dream height because, as you said, it'd feel so good to say, and I strive to earn the money someday for LL. My main concern is that I want to go into boxing, MMA, and weightlifting in the meantime, and that doing LL in the future can ruin that for me. I'll be sure to check out your diary sometime soon.  :)

There's 2 ways to look at this. If you get an apartment first, you won't have to pay rent, and it'll set you up better financially later in life. However, it is much easier to recover from LL when you're young. It's a tough trade-off.

@LoneLumberJX & Hobbit
Thanks guys. :) I'm only 5'11 at night, but am almost 6' in the morning, haha.

Do you know that you could possibly gain half an inch taller by doing some simple yoga? And that height increase is life long.

100% agreed. By fixing one's posture by doing yoga one can actually increase his visible height by close to a centimeter. I know this because I used to have serious posture issues. I used to be 165. Now it's close to 166. (Yes I remember measuring my height in the morning 2-3 years back. So it's not because of daily fluctuation or something)

Morning height doesn't count, that height increse by 1cm also stays the whole day. Sometimes it helps one gain almost 2cm, depending on the person. Fixing one's posture gives one another 1 to 2 cm height. So if you are 166 after fixing it, your morning height could be 167 to 168.

No I meant both the times (3 years back and now) I measured it in the morning.

BTW I used to be called 'ape' by my friends for walking like an ape with serious spine issues lol. So height increase can happen only in very serious posture issues.
