Most of my male friends are around 169cm to 173cm, some of them are like around 178 to 182 cm. However I saw that a lot of people who want to do LL are around 168 to 171. I don't think that's short but I would like to hear from your opinion on what heights do you consider noticeably short, and what height should consider LL as a way to get a little taller?

It’s down to individual concern.  I was 175 which isn’t actually short but I still had height neurosis.  There are people who are 172 or 170 and have never even considered themselves short.  There’s no  cutoff because it’s down to each person deciding if their height is sufficient or not.  There are people as tall as 183 who feel insecure about their height and people as short as 165 who are at peace with it.

I see what you mean by height neurosis. But 175 is the average or slightly taller in American men.

Man is everywhere but you spoke absolute facts. It comes down to individual perspectives, also some people while they may want to could possibly never afford to so they’re also semi forced to accept their fate.

I'm also 175 and consider myself short when living in a country with avg height of 179. Also, I do wear lifts or thick shoes all the time, so I'm 178-179 daily. I guess that just confirmation bias to notice only taller people around or average height calculation samples are not reflecting entire society. I think I consider tall 180-183, that's at least what my women friends tell me. You must also consider women's height + heels.

I have a hunch East Asian countries are catching up. I spent a month in Japan and most guys I’ve seen  are 5’6-5’11.
