Why are you trying to deny other's people experience lol. I would like to hear a story from your LL experience first 7 days. Keep in mind, everyone has different pain med protocols, it depends on the doctor, idk if mine was mild or intense but the first week was hurt like hell and no way I could be comfortable being alone. That's how I felt, and for most people as well

u see all i emphasised was the importance of mental attitude in this process

i was in russia

would u believe two patients were advised by the doctors to stop lengthening tibias at 7cm and took away their turning implement - they went to the hardware store, bought a spanner and continued to lengthen to 11cm by themselves  - they were crippled but the doctor's still tried to help them - mental instability etc
other patients would not walk and stayed in bed

none of my posts are offensive

i have endured height neurosis all of my adult life - i would not wish it on anyone - and if i can help anyone resolve related height issues then that is why i post

we should not discourage those who genuinely feel the surgery will enhance their life - by making unsubstantiated claims or scaremongering etc - or claiming it to be brutal when, as you have said, children routinely undergo this process etc

it's up to u if you want to get personal or sarcastic - it further invalidates ur argument  :)

you are deliberately trying to misunderstood. If you have not done the surgery yourself, your opinion is invalid and I will stop talking lol

cap, what kind of doctor allow to push one segment over 10cm, it's nuts. so What, at 7cm for real, their condition is way more better than right after their legs got broken even for a week after.

I give you footage of me working out and walking a lot so in no term I'm having negative discipline and weak mind and you still keep refusing to listen, Did you read my reply that I need to keep my daily personal care routine as exactly as they are before the surgery,  I'm also able to maintain my work during this whole time. Therefore, in no way I could do all of them without someone's assistance. Nvm, let's say I could do this alone but being just by myself dealing with the pain, the quality of life would be howling bad and why would I wanna to opt for this, it's unwise to do so with all the available researches, youtube LL patient stories, LL patient meetings in person, doctor consultations,  I've foresee how the surgery would go before it happened so having a care take was a best decision, because, why not, he helped A LOT.

i didn't check ur footage - i'm sure i bench four times urs...... :)

yes that's fine - wasn't disagreeing with ur choice - perfectly possible and advisable for others to also go alone - with staff and fellow patient assistance - many people will not want to tell others that they are having this surgery - the vast majority possibly - my point stands that if children can do it and others - then is is hardly brutal - this implies it's torture - don't do it!1 - no way man!

still cap, I know Russian lifters are strong af but I doubt you would bench 480kg at my weight 74kg, my max bench is 120kg (weak but who tf cares). Also, your country is known to abuse enhanced performance drugs so you should stop lying like them, maybe they will allow your team to compete at next olympic. Ok, it seems like you  enjoy listening to your own talk and believing kids can walk at day 3rd to pee with both feet on the ground, so good luck, I'm waiting for your video on your 2nd LL attempt lol

Nobody is asking your opinion on their experiences. Do not reply, shut the hell up. God you suck.

(...)

Yeah my legs were swollen like hell the first 2.5 weeks. They're still stiff as hell. My knees were like grapefruits man. I can't sit properly still, and the fixaters are ultra uncomfortable when trying to sit. This next month is going to be hell lol, but I'm happy that I'm already getting through it. Hoping to stop lengthening end of June so I can have these leg-cuffs off early July. At this point I'm 100% happy with only 5.5-6cm =_=

I'm sure some of you had a hard time right after surgery, but with Stryde femurs its definitely possible to do everything by yourself. However, it would still make life a little easier to have a helper around.

many people are asking for my opinion actually - 'shut the hell up' just because i say you need to have a strong and positive attitude!!?? - my word - other prospective patients can form their own view of this thread - the immaturity displayed here confirms my wariness of 'torture' claims by some patients...

ps u don't censor anyone - full stop  :)
