5cm lon tibias safe enough?
« on: April 29, 2021, 02:25:27 AM »

Hey guys ive been reading the sad news of both precise AND STRYDE nails being recalled.

Ive been hustling so hard nowadays and was shooting for Q4 of this year to do Stryde nails 6cm femurs. I am 176cm but I have been recently reevaluating my options;

Since LL height is NOT inheritable, I was thinking of just doing 5cm tibias and put me on above average without compromising my future functions too much.

After all, if my kids will not inherit my additional height through genetics why waste so much of my life(if it was inheritable I would do 15cm total to give the next generation the best chance  lol).

I must emphasise I do not struggle with women even at 176cm so whats the point of going beyond whats necessary? I just want to be above average since I am above average in many other departments already.

If I just did 5cm LON tibias, pushing me to 181cm could I recover reasonably to the point that "I won't feel like I did LL"? And do Muay Thai, Jui jitsu to the point I could collect some belts(in Jiu jitsu), do some amateur matches and strong enough to handle the guy in the alley if it comes to it?

6cm femur is probably safer than 5cm tibia. 5cm tibia is stretching the achilles tendon and you will probably have less explosiveness.

Is this the case also for LON? I have read on this forum that tibias is much more safer than femurs when it comes to LON.

The average height of a population wouldn't increase over time if children weren't able to exceed their parents' height. It's entirely possible that your kids will be well above your height. My stepfather is 169cm while my stepbrother is 180cm. So with your 176cm your kids may go all the way to 185 or higher if you make sure they participate in the right sports, eat well etc and of course have a bit of luck.

As for the lengthening, you could consider Betz. I recommend give him a call and get in touch with RB from the diary to get the opinion of someone currently lengthening with Betz.

Yes, agreed that the right environmental factors create more favorable results.

But its already been proven here that the extra "LL height" is not enheritable and doesnt become absorbed into your dna. Much like getting a nose job, your kids still will not replicate that feature at all.
