One target of this thread is to read some experiences about earning money and affording time to set out for LL.
I'm a 22 y.o college student at present who studies CS.And I plan to do LL around 30 y.o cuz I think programming is a highly-paid career and it's far more possible for metrocitizens like me.As for time,I dare quit my job for 2-3 yrs for just height cuz you know an extremely short man doesn't care about his career when it comes to growing taller to normal height.
And in addition my mother will leave a house to me when I graduate from college.I have to sell that for money.I think that'll boost my dream coming true a lot.

I am not decided on surgery yet but by the time I do, the funds will not be a problem and I think for you as well. CS is a great degree and you should be able to save a lot of money. Why not keep the house to keep expenses to almost zero? Then you can save almost all your salary and only buy food/absolute necessities.

Hey Coeus... you'll be making bank with your CS training.  I may suggest keeping that house and turning it into a rental property and making it cashflow for yourself.  I wrote an essay on Cyborg4life website...and then Victor actually made it into a full video on how to save money for CLL.  I placed lots of ideas into that video, please check it out.  You'll get there!  You got this!  His site is cyborg4life.com

i saved up alot but im also an engineer working in automasiation. so yea im paid but i aint spend my money on no bull  like ll coz that   whack and fk ur health up. umma rather buy an apartment and just chiiillll with my side bitch

Parihar was trained by Paley, so he's probably a better option that a lot of the other doctors.

I'd say parihar is better than your las vegas doctors who only do LL. He is much more experienced and handled a lot of complex cases. But I am sure your racist a** don't care about that.

I don't live in India and not trying to defend anyone. The point is there are 1 billion people in India who get their treatment there by his logic we all are crippled because we get some sort of surgery or treatment from an Indian doc at some point in our lives. There are a lot of sh*t docs here and the US is def better if it doesn't mean Parihar is also a sh*t doc. He has good reviews and the only option if you don't have money. The point this racist is trying to make is do it in the west or don't do it at all.

Yeah the US is way better no denying it, India will never come close. I also believe that most Indian doctors in LL are not good options. The only doctor who has really proven himself, and is recommended by Paley, is Parihar. His fee's are around $15-20k less than the cheapest US doctor, and the cost of the living expenses (hotel, food, etc..) is much cheaper than the US. So I believe that Parihar is a good option for those who can't afford to go to the US, or some European surgeons, and is a better option than Russian doctors.

For midgets like me,height,really...is the most important thing in my life...Health is important for anyone though..But health can be catogorized to the physical and mental one...In my humble point of view mental health is way critical than physical health..

Just my two cents but I personally think that patients in developing countries have a tendency to get more greedy with their lengthening, I mean, we hear of people doing more than 10cm per segment usually from India or China, ect. KiloKhans diary did show us that India has more than enough responsible doctors one can go to if they cannot afford the American docs. That being said, I would never spend anything over 50k on this procedure, you could say my height neurosis was not that bad to begin with.

Back to the main question asked, I saved up while I was in University. I finished my studies part time which gave me the chance to work full time. After about two years of saving up I was able to do the surgery. I am from Europe myself so studying more often than not is even free and you do not always need a scholarship either.
