Limb Lengthening on Snapchat
« on: January 23, 2021, 01:09:14 AM »

Was on snapchat today, saw one of the channels i was subscribed to in barstool sports and they had that guy Alphonso who got his limb lengthening done as a discussion on it. Of course they were ridiculing him for it. Just wanted to know others here opinion on the matter of what they think about people who make their cll surgery public. Speaking from my own personal experience i dont want this cll procedure to be gaining so much notoriety/fame because then youll obviously get the critics to convince you out of it. If you do this surgery at a young age its fine cause most ppl wont notice but doing this at 23 or older ppl clearly notice and if cll becomes big enough everyone will know what you did. I mean i get the other-side of the argument that if it gets big enough itll eventually become normal but i just would prefer to keep it low key. anyway wanted to know others opinion on this matter.

Is he the same guy that advertised his LL on Unilad?
If yes, whats wrong with that dude? He seems that he did LL to become famous or something?

Publicity is too bad for something so personal like LL and these guys are ruin what most of us tried a lot to keep as much as secret as we could.
Most people don't know about LL and that should stay as it is. Lets hope some weirdos like that dude and merchant doctors like Derbipashad stop making LL so known to the public, most ll'ers really want to keep what we've done completely confidential !

its a slow process but itll get accepted.

first they used to say you have to lie in bed for 1 year and wear ugly frames and your crazy to do that.

now with stryde they are saying you will get arthritis in many years. they also say your shoving a fat nail into bones, thats crazy

but if patients prove that its safe then it will be accepted. if celebrities get this, if doctors get this, if sports stars get this then it will become treated "safe".

then they will be left with makin fun of you for spending so much money on this. you in return make fun of them for being poor. but seriously after many years stryde will become cheap and it will become affordable to many.

Stryde is never going to become cheap and there is no evidence it will. That is a fantasy for many but if anything this will just get more expensive as the capable doctors retire amd the demand for this operation increases.

I think LL is not something u shld adverstise but it shld be smthing u shan't be ashmed of at least if ur really into it cause tht's whn ppl take advantage of ur insecurities...every single being in this world has insecurities..it's ok to fix them if possible but u shldn't be controlled by it and more importantly other ppl shldn't be able to control ur insecurities.

Cosmetic lengthening can only get so popular because of the cost and recovery time. Stryde will let you walk, but you're still going under anesthesia and there's a lot of inconvenient pains throughout the process. It also doesn't get rid of the inherent risk with any procedure, and DVT, embolism, nerve damage, etc can still happen. All you need is one person who gets f***ed up by a knee surgeon doing this for somebody and then going to the media about how their life has been ruined. The nature of the surgery is such that I don't believe it will ever be accepted by the majority of the population. Women will often feel lied to, especially if the person they're seeing who had CLL is being looked at as a potential father, and plenty of other people will think you're a giant p*ssy because you were bothered enough about your height to spend all that time and money on it.

People can do as they wish, but my opinion is that while having an information center (such as this site) is invaluable in helping people who really want this do it safely, pushing to have this become a common cosmetic procedure by seeking media attention is something that is mostly negative.

LL will never be acceptable for men.
Women want tall men non only because they are attracted to them but because they want to have better possibiities to have taller kids too.
So knowing that a man has an "artificial" height repel them not only because they think that man is insecure (the biggest turn off for a woman) but also because they still have less chances to have tall children (at least on their minds).

Thats why LL should always stay completely confidential and the worst that could.happen is by far to women you like know that you did it.
And thats why that merchant doctor and wannabe famous clowns like that LLer do such a great harm to all of us who did LL or the future llers.

If a woman goes undersurgery to have a beautiful body nobody cares even knowing that her bo0bs, lips etc are fake, what really matter is the apperance, that's all in this world.
I think there are too many people buried alive by their own shame but that's not something to worry so much about, people are actually more scared if they know that is a really painful procedure but all new stuff coming in these years is making it easier.
The main reason why it's seen as a weird thing is because it's something very unfamiliar and it looks like a torture, telling the truth these people and docs like Dep are making it looks like a normal thing, as it should be.
A self confident person doesnt't really care about keep everything so secret, I repeat the only thing that really matter is the result, if you are a freak after LL you sucks as much as a natural freak. If you are disproportioned you are ugly even if you don't tell the reason why you are so.
Of course, I totally understand to avoid telling it to non-close friends because it's a private thing and has to be kept so, you have to mind your business and not explain everything in your life, but I think it's not very healthy not tell this to parents/brothers, best friends and partners.

I agree, how can you get repelled by artificial height and all these people with Fkd up teeth and fake boobs and nose jobs want to cover up their insecurities. Personally, if you get ll go for a slightly taller girl and hope for the best.

I don’t think people should be ashamed of LL and think of it as a repellent, half of these women have fkd teeth and get veneers or just cake make up on themselves until they get married and their husband sees them without make up

so your saying do fraud when you get married. your wife will think her husband is tall so will give her tall kids because you dont tell her the truth. if your kids become replica of your old self then you will shrug it off?

Yes, exactly. It's only 3 inches, it's not going to make that big of a difference on the kid since half the genetics comes from the mom, so you'd only contribute 1.5 inches of the kid being shorter, which is well within the variance of offspring height. Also, how many kids are you going to have? Each one only has a 50% chance of being a boy anyway, you might not even run into the issue. If you do, there's HGH, LL, etc. so I don't see what the problem is.

you do realize that your kid will have to go through the same problems you have at some point in life?
if you hgh your kid, health issues will arise later in life. generally when ure short you have to compensate because you are less attractive for women. so either you have a career going and tons of money or natural selection will happen, only the best breeders will breed - welcome to the jungle.  8)

LL will never be mainstream simply because racism against shorter men is widely accepted and ok. so people will always downtalk on you. its ok to have other things done but height is a nogo. now to the women getting breast implants or other stuff, i would be disgusted. simply because i accept myself the way i am. i expect the same from my counterpart. says a lot about your character.

HGH is very safe. You don't know much, if anything at all, about HGH, and I could already tell.

If you want a real case study of plastic surgery and offsprings coming out ugly, just look at South Korea. No one gives a shiet. Men and women get PS and marry and reproduce. All their kid's grow up and get PS. Teenagers aged 13 are literally getting eyelid surgeries as middle school graduation gifts and nose jobs as high school gifts. Society continues to run. No one bats an eye.

The truth is that everyone has one life. Concerning and willingly suffer through your own for the sake of some offspring that will live in an even more advanced society years ahead is stupid. Just get whatever fkïng surgery you want to do, reproduce, who cares. Especially when something as sci-fi and safe as HGH exists. The fücking second dose of the Pfizer covid vaccine, objectively, has more adverse effects itself than HGH injections for 3 years in short kids.

ok you got a point there.

thanks. no hate towards you btw, just tryna dispell some misconceptions and put in my two cents. i am just a very strong advocate of HGH which is overwhelmingly approved for familial short stature (short due to short genetics with no health problems) in the pediatric endocrinology field

I think that those people is jealous of him, it could be a symptom that CLL could be more popular soon. The more the mock, the bigger the envy. A lot of those will be the next to get taller.

About prices, all technologies decreases their prices as they become more popular (mobile phones, solar power, electric cars, computers, television, radio, washing machines...). An internal nail doesn't have a special or very advanced technology, just some magnets, some gears, a hollow rod and another one, some sealing.. and doing everything carefully (just like cheaper nails). Does someone know when the patent could expire? Also, most of the technologies existent were used previously in other fields.

Take in account that the innovations are not only in the nails used: pain management, infection management, internal body imaging... everything around CLL is becoming better and better, so most of people will be less afraid of complications.

I would never hide the procedure, the only problem is that is too expensive, but if it were cheaper, I would talk about it naturally, just like other procedures. If a women discards me for the surgery, I would prefer it, because I am not interested in such shallow people. No thanks, there are better people to live with.

Cosmetic surgery is just a way to improve our bodies and our lives.

Note: at this moment I'm only a "pretender", I want to know more about this interesting procedure. Hopping to become 185 cm (6'1'') from 174 cm (5'8 ½''), but it is too expensive.
My sitting height is 92½ - 94 cm (36''½ 37''), my length of legs is 81 cm (32'') and my armspan is 180 cm (70'' 7/8).

Yeah, also by the next generation or two advancements will be crazy. Look how externals went to stryde. I find that crazy. That would be sci fi in the 80’s and 90’s. Limb lengthening will reach a point where in the next 50 years I think it will be 2/3 of the price and much much easier with new technology Advancement.

That is kind of the catch-22 of all of this.

We all have a huge debt to pay for those brave souls who came before us, underwent torture with old external devices (or poor internal devices), and allowed the field to become what it is today.

You see, that is the conundrum: those who risk the most with this surgery, are those with the most to gain. What do I mean?

By the time that (supposedly) technology/awareness of the surgery reaches a point to allow it to be done easily, it will lose much of what makes it so powerful for the essentially class of oligarchs (those with money) that benefit from it now.

AKA once it's cheap and easy, it won't be that big of a boost--because then everyone could just get it.

But I do wonder why that guy would go public like that. I saw the snapchat story you're referring to. And the YouTube video with victor. It just seems really, really weird to be that blaise about it and when push comes to shove this surgery is just weird and people who go public so easily seem not quite socially adapted...aka socially dumb. But maybe I'm just a hater.

Unfortunately that won't be useful to any of us.

I think ultimately we will learn how to reopen growth plates to allow people to keep growing, and then close the growth plates as soon as the person reaches their desired height. That's the ultimate "limb lengthening". We're a century too early though

Growth plates don’t close, they fuse and are virtually non existent afterwards

Perhaps we can add a growth plate to the end of our bones then, and then have them fuse once they we've reached ideal height.

Or possibly find a way to un-fuse growth plates. There must be some cell signaling pathway to accomplish this.

I am very proud of myself that I did LL and before so many years that almost all stories we heard were the freaking ones.
But what I feel about myself is irrelevant of what the average person would feel, especially women, if they learn that your height is fake.
And this has nothing to do with how hard LL is but because women think that tall men have better genes and thats why they prefer them for making chlildren.
Of course, all these are bs and thats why I will never tell to any woman that I did LL, because it really shoukdn't matter at all for them, but it does.

So, no LLer should be ashamed. We worth our heights much more than any natural born average-tall dude.
But society will never feel the same about us. Thats why I will keep it secret at all costs, something that merchant doctors and wannabe famous LL morons make it harder and harder though.

i agree. for instance, i never get sick whereas my friend 6'5 catches every flew. so yea talking about genes and height.
women are stupid and no high value man takes women too serious. you have to treat a woman like a child. they are not reasonable. for me, im pursuing my career and i see a woman as something that will complement me at some point in life to reach full social acceptance, because a sucessful man has to have a woman, right?

BINGO.

Why is this so hard to understand for some people? Wanting to hide CLL and being "ashamed" of it are mutually exclusive. We don't live in a binary world, and thinking as such is foolish.

Bottom line: keep this as niche and secret as possible so that patients don't also have to deal with MORE b.s. after growing taller. And this guy on snapchat is doing just that--ruining it for the rest of us.

I don't agree, CLL will be accepted by society just like other cosmetic surgeries, maybe some people make fun of it, but this is just a way of saying "I'm jealous".

If I get a CLL surgery, I would be proud of it. :)

Im not saying people should go public with this. Every body has a right to privacy. I understand most people speak very ill of this procedure. go and see dailymail comments. but I think it's unhealthy to not even disclose it to close family and especially your spouse. I know I would feel cheated if my spouse did leg length surgery and didnt tell me.

I understand every body's pain. Its very difficult to make people understand. Thats really why I want people in public life (doctors, celebrities and sport stars) to do this and show people it aint no big deal. Imagine a soccer player did this and ran a solo run dribbling past 4 players and scored a goal with those long legs? that would create a positive impression.

as for children, HGH Is not like candy. hormonal therapy is bound to have risks. sometimes I feel leg length surgery is safer than that LOL.
