Interview with Dr. Parihar
« on: December 20, 2020, 01:24:42 PM »

Since this interview was a huge request from many for the last 6months or so, I thought I'd make a separate post. Also give credit and thank @KiloKAHN for helping with the questions since he was a former patient of Dr. Parihar. Have a good one!

Thanks for doing this Cyborg!

Anyone have any thoughts on Parihar vs Giotikas for price and safety? Still not sure who is cheaper, also heard some scary things about Parihar's facility not being good/westerners getting food poisoning if they are not used to eating in Mumbai

Great interview, Cyborg.

At 47:15 he funnily enough was referring to me when talking about getting a cake for a patient who had the surgery done the day before his birthday lol.

This was the visual from it:

Wow! :)

Sounded nice of them!

What were the worst things about going to India for LL in your opinion?

The stomach virus sucked.
There were a few times where the heat outside caused the hotel generator to go out and I had to wait a bit for it to go back up.
I'm not the biggest fan of spicy food and only had Indian cuisine a couple times in my life, so getting used to food items and discovering the ones I liked and disliked was a challenge (there were a lot of fast food options that were exactly like we had in the states but I didn't want to eat that constantly)
I went there during some sort of festival and there were nights I couldn't sleep because of the parades and fireworks, though to be fair it only lasted a few days

Really the hardest part was doctor shopping after the issues we had on the old forum with people getting harmed by dishonest doctors in New Delhi, so it was a lot of pressure to hopefully find a doc I could trust after I had taken off work and flown across the ocean. Met with docs in New Delhi first and then flew to Mumbai, and I decided Dr Parihar was the best bet for me. Don't regret my choice.

Thanks!!!

What do you feel are some relatively safe healthy foods in Mumbai that are easy to get and prepare and are less likely to cause a stomach problem?

Hi SpeedDialer,

Dont worry too much, you can hire a maid for sometime and he/she can cook for you whatever you want ! You can just eat boiled chicken, rice, pasta, fish and veggies etc. The problem here is not that the food quality is bad, its the spices( way too many) which are commonly used in Indian cooking.

All the very best bud...

Anyways, Kilo can guide you better bcuz he is the expert, and knows how to cope with this situation..

Regards

Thanks! So you should be good if you avoid the spices and avoid drinking tap water/using tap water in cooking?

Hey Cyborg!

Could you please make a video about possible excuses/explanations for what one did with his life during those 8 months say if you do both tibia and femur? When he is explaining what he did to employers or schools he applies to
