My diary. Tibias+femurs 3.75+3.75cm at the Paley Institute (5'5" -> 5'8") in my late 30s.
One of the last patients to use the PRECICE 2.2 nail. I met the first STRYDE patient and I strongly recommend the new STRYDE nail instead.

Yep, I knew it. I knew it when I was living in Michigan. I was "Gulliver in the Land of the Giants". I was David among Goliaths. It sucked big time.

To show that the tallest people, statistically speaking, in the United Sates are generally concentrated in the Midwest. And to remind the height-conscious members of this forum to think twice before moving there pre-LL  ;)

I have no trouble believing these maps because every single male I've ever met from the Midwest, with the exception of one fellow from Michigan, has been well over 6 feet or 183CM tall.

On this 19th day of May in the year of our lord 2014 I Rivers officially rename the Midwest as "New Germany"  ;D

Why the hell not?  It's perfect! We already have New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New Mexico and the entire region of New England  ;)

My ex went to high school for one year in Minnesota and commented about the students being 'giants', and that was late 1980's.
