Consulting Parihar
« on: November 28, 2020, 02:57:55 PM »

I'm fully set on lengthening tibia with Parihar in the summer of next year and I've been messaging Dr. Divya Ahuja for the past few weeks. Although I don't want to waste $200 for a consultation because I don't really have questions, it looks to be imperative.

So if you have any questions to ask him, reply to this. I will ask it for you.

P.S. If anyone has lengthened with Parihar in the past, and is willing to talk to me please PM me.

$200 is quite a lot, make the most of it :)

stuff that comes up on the forum (some about him):

- he doesn't do too many CLL cases, is that a problem?
- stryde (not relevant to you though): what if a size doesn't fit. Do they keep a spare?
- which stryde ERC version do they give?
- if there are problems with distraction and we need a new ERC machine, can we get it fast enough from the US?
- should a prospective patient be concerned about covid?
- does he personally do CLL surgeries? on both legs?
- availability of TSF
- fat embolism: does he prescribe xarelto / blood thinners? for how long?
- risks of infection: what does he do to mitigate risks?
- PT: will they send a PT to your place?

Even though Dr. Paley offers CLL he sometimes doesn't do the surgery personally. His partner does them sometimes. Or they do one leg each. See what I mean smarty pants?  8)

I believe most of those questions are answered from Penguinn and KiloKhan's beautiful diaries but I will keep those in mind when I talk to him.

Thanks. When is your consultation? Can't wait to hear what you learn.

Having some weird problems right now. I sent them the $200 around a week ago and they messaged me today that they were looking with their accounting department to find it but they couldn't. They told me to check if $200 has been cleared from my account and I told them yes. Currently waiting for a reply...
