how can I avoid ballerina foot if i do surgery on my tibias?

1. set a reasonable lengthening goal
2. do heaps of prehab/stretching before your procedure
3. be very very commited to your physio
4. discuss gastroc lengthening with your surgeon

You need to start achilles tendon stretching exercises asap daily to avoid that after surgery. More stretch=easier walk after surgery. You can check youtube for exercises.
