Hey everyone,
I'm a 20 years old guy from Turkey. My morning height is 181 cm along with an usual low of 178.8-9 cm, which makes me stand most of the times at 179.5 cm. Since the average height of young people at Istanbul is getting closer and closer to 5'10, I can't say that I'm happy with my height. I'm about 68.5th percentile in my age group, but as an early bloomer, I was always something about 90th percentile during my early teenage years. I'm kinda guilty because of my teenage years habits: Smoking, drinking, started lifting too early(even though science says it doesn't affect growth, I really kept my bad lifting posture for a long time so it could be).
I want to lengthen at least 3 inches, which will make me 187 cm minimum. I want to get close to 6'2 mark since I will move to the Netherlands after I get my undergraduate degree.
I have relatively long legs for my torso but not unproportional. I can both lengthen my femurs or tibias, depends on situation. I can only afford LON. Which is more preferrable for my situation? And I've read here that you will lengthen less than you turn for femurs, will the final result be the same at X-Rays?(I will turn 8cm but will gain 7.5cm of height for example)
PS: How long will it take to walk without crutches if I lengthen 3 inches?
Thanks.
