A lot of the older diary's on this forum paint Dr Solomin and Dr Kulesh in a very positive light. However, maybe they were paid shills?

All of the people who drew inspiration from those diary's to get surgery with these doctors, as far as I can see have had bad or less than desirable outcomes.

With the most recent well-known case being Android, who has unfortunately suffered nerve damage and has not been heard in a long time.

I do not want to talk negative about a doctor without knowing the full facts however. Are there recent cases with Dr Solomin and Kulesh that have gone well?

Or is the consensus to avoid these doctors? The cheaper prices not being worth the risk?

If this is the case, what cheaper doctors would you recommend that have good outcomes?

First, asking the opinion of the forum in general regarding a specific surgeon or surgical team is not productive--ask folks who were treated by the team.

Next, I do not make it a practice to endorse others just as I do not offer opinions about surgeons with whom I have no experience.

However, because you asked, I can confirm that I continue to hold the Solomin/Kulesh team in the highest regard.  If you want details about my experience; read my journal posted in this forum.

I left St. Petersburg in January 2019 after my nailing surgery.  I have not paid anything to my surgical team since that time; yet, Dr. Kulesh continues to follow my case remotely on his own dime.

In fact, last week we interacted.  He forwarded me the manufacturer's manual for my nails and offered to interact with my local surgeon about potential nail removal.

You will not readily find that level of commitment from others.

I was at St. Elizabeth's Hospital during the time Android was finishing his cross-lengthening.  Android experienced a complication.  I talked with Android and observed all kinds of appropriate testing and intervention intended to sort out Android's situation.

I do not know where things stand with Android now.  Cross-lengthening is inherently risky because one's second surgery must match exactly with one's first surgery; yet the body is NOT guaranteed to cooperate.

In short, there was no evidence that the Solomin/Kulesh team did anything wrong.  Likewise, there was no evidence that Android did anything wrong.  To the contrary, things were going fine until they weren't.

Fortunately, Android was in the best possible place to experience a complication.

Who are these people you reference?  I am not one of them.

Dr. Solomin seems remarkably qualified for the price he's quoting. I'm really astounded more people don't do surgery with him.
