My proportions
« on: June 09, 2020, 06:47:41 AM »

I am 167 cm tall, My wingspan is 174 cm , My sitting height is 80 cm.
I am planning on increasing 6 - 7 cm on the femur and 4 cm on tibia.
Will it look odd ?

You could post a pic. Cross lenghtening is not so easy you are not playing with Lego lol. If you’ll do probably it will be just for 1 segment.

post a pic bud. cross lengthening is some crazy  .
prone to complications and you will be recovering for a very very long time.
rather do femur, shorter recovery than on tibia and you can go for 7-8cm there.
you wont be able to lenghten as much as doing femur first then tibia a year later btw.
thats another minus for cross lengthening.

As long as you have the time, money and resilience for two surgeries, then lengthening both bones about 15 months apart is best for aesthetics and functionality.

This is a mock up I made, 6cm on the femur and 4 cm on tibia.
Does feet size matter ?
I know a person who has feet size 9 but is 5'10.5"

It's not so easy to do the cross lenghtening. Making just the femur you could see a great result (6-8cm). Anyway there is something more important than LL and it's to fix your knees, those are clearly valgus (expecially the left knee).

I had asked a joint specialist , if i had any knock knees, He said I didnt.
How bad is it ?
It wud be helpful if i cud get an effective excersice to get rid of valgus, i searched but didnt get an effective excersice.
I am currently 22 y.o and had my growth spurt at age 13 to 14 years. My dad is 5 9 and mom 5 3
And does the proportions look bad after LL ?

I agree... Maybe even sooner, like 6 months apart, depending on you life circumstances

Either you measured incorrectly or you have a very short torso, I would not suggest passing 174cm

It depends on what you want and the methods that you use.

Maybe you can add 5 cm on tibia, but it your choice.

Note: at this moment I'm only a "pretender", I want to know more about this interesting procedure. Hopping to become 185 cm (6'1'') from 174 cm (5'8 ½''), but it is too expensive.
My sitting height is 92½ - 94 cm (36''½ 37''), my length of legs is 81 cm (32'') and my armspan is 180 cm (70'' 7/8).
