How fit were you? What would your weekly activities consist of and how many times? Just trying to get a better understanding.
I was way above average in fitness level than the average Betz patient.
There was only two patients that were in my fitness level or better at that time: a martial-artist and a female dancer.
I've being weightlifting since I was 16 years old and I was in the top of my game when I did LL.
My flexibility was also above average, thanks to genetics and years of practicing yoga and some martial-arts.
I could literally put my two feet behind my head with pants, easily touch the ground with my palms, etc...).
My daily routine in Germany at the Park Hotel was something like (keep in mind the hotel had a Gym/Physiotherapy center in it):
1) Breakfast
2) Exercise: Recumbent Bike (40min), Treadmill and Stretching
3) Physiotherapy
4) Clicking (that's how you grow with Betzbone, twisting the leg)
5) Rest
6) Lunch
7) Walk in the park in front of the hotel (with crutches), around 40min
Rest
9) Dinner
Anyway, the main point is that even if you're super fit and flexible you can still have lots of pain, excruciating pain.
You'll never know how your body will react.
But my recovery was great, 100%, so I'm not complaining.
