Squat 3/4+ plates after LL
« on: December 08, 2019, 04:12:37 AM »

Anyone had 2 inches done on femur that can squat a lot?

By "a lot" I mean _At least_  160 kgs. I don't care about Sunday squatters.

Everyone talks about having 80% or 90% of athletic ability. That doesnt mean anything. Only raw numbers tell the truth

Let's say You could squat 210 kgs before 6cm femur lengthening. Then after 2 years, after being able to squat again what are your numbers?

I will only even continue thinking about this operation If I can squat like a man after all the recovery

Looking into this. Might do 5-6cm femur, might not do it.

Don't do it. There is no guarantee you will squat "like a man" after CLL. You will also never find out the chances because most people and LLers are hardly interested in squatting a lot.

I can squat and deadlift more after LL (10cm femurs) than before, even though it's harder now due to the tibia/femur ration being off.. But I was much smaller than you (5'5'') and squats were never the main point of my routine, so I never squatted extreme weights even before LL.

Thus I'm not sure if my case is helpful or not for you.

What does "I can squat more" mean?

Numbers, people, numbers. I can only work with numbers

You are 186 cm . Here is your number.... . Why you think about LL when you care so much about your sport. Every person is different some people can squat more after LL, some people less. Nobody can answer you that question 100%.

But i think with 6 cm femur and hard work you can squat like u did it before your LL.

Around 20% more.

But at 186cm you should not waist time and money with this.
Go buy a house instead.
Risks are not worth in your case.
And even if everything goes well you are already in the diminishing returns area in terms of height.
