Where are they?

I can't find any yet people keep talking how you "will be wheelchair bound in 5 yrs".

So...who actually did end up wheelchair bound??? And why?

LL will not touch your spinal nerve. So feeling and moving your legs will, in most cases, always be possible after LL even when complications occur. Altough it might be hindered greatly by things like nerve damage, non-union or misalignments. Which can lead to patents ending up walking with limps, in an impaired fashion, and being unable to move quickly or do sports. "You will be wheelchair bound" is something said by people who haven't researched LL much.

Also there is a risk of injury done with spines upon surgery with spine anesthesia, epidural

If both your legs get f***ed up, you're gonna be in a wheelchair to move. How are you going to walk around with non-unions? Heck, even ballerina foot can confine you to a wheelchair as it's way too strenuous to use a walker in that case.

Yeah, a lot of people equate wheelchairs with paralysis.  I remember getting up from my wheelchair and seeing the shocked look on people's faces, like they had witnessed a miracle or that I was faking being crippled, about to run a marathon backwards while dancing.

There are a few people from the Beijing clinic that I still wonder about.  They over-lengthened, didn't get out of bed at all, had so many problems.  It wouldn't surprise me if they still used a wheelchair even after all this time.  I think that shame is the primary reason that they keep quiet about it since they don't want to be seen as stupid or weak by speaking out against LL.
