Stryde vs LON?
« on: November 20, 2019, 05:43:14 AM »

hey guys, I'm a girl and was only thinking about lengthening my tibia with stryde but recently I saw an interview who have done with LON procedure and seems like the outcome was still great. Plus it is way cheaper so what do you guys say? I want to hear some opinions from you guys.

stryde is like new technology. go for it. its like comparing window 10 with window 97. LON method is like decades old technique.

Exactly.. I'm trying to save up for stryde but at this point I keep questioning and researching if LON method would be still fine.

well health is not above anyhting. try to do odd jobs or multiple jobs if u want stryde. otherwise if u go for cheap LON  and what if u got some complications or pain in legs then u will have to go to other doctor and it will costs u alot. dont take risk.

Are you also considering LON as well? And yeah I'm actually considering Dr. Lee or maybe Dr. Giotikas.

I've been looking into Dr.Lee's website asking questions and all and they are really firm about their 0% major permanent complication rate. I mean who has such guts to have that open and say it when it's not true you know? Plus this is the video () that I mentioned earlier and made me consider LON method for my budget...

But I totally agree with you that safety and well health comes first. May I ask what you are planning to do?

Donghoon has lot more experience than Giotikas
From what’s written on the forum, I considered Giotikas as one of the dangerous choices
Shouldn’t trust any doctor who cannot fix complications properly or who cannot prevent severe ballerina foot
Having extra surgery for BF is nonsense

You really need to study lot more about CLL
For whom have done lots research it’s very obvious that Giotikas can never be a safe choice, at least for tibias.

How much YOU get paid by Giotikas? ;D

If you think you know enough about CLL, then  Name who can be a real trustworthy doctor for tibia then
I’m still looking for any good doctors for tibias other than Donghoon

You probably don’t even know how scarce good doctors are in this field
Most doctors are real craps

Read journals see outcomes pick your surgeon see his patients in real life and make your choice. Stop saying that everyone is dangerous except dr lee.And you wanna tell me that you met every surgeon in the field and that they are all bad and dangerous come on kid.I dont mind you promoting your choice but dont try to undermine everyone else.

Why are you soooo blind
Not wanting to look at problems which are already presented here
Thats dangerous mindset for such a risky surgery

He doesn’t give very good PT, patient having quite a severe contracture and extra surgery to extend  sole muscle which is really risky thing for future complications
In other patient video, he got unnaturally flat feet and probably pronation deformity.  These conditions can produce long term complications such as arthritis and pain when walk
Good doctors never produce complications like them
Also someone reported Dr Giotikas couldn’t do successfully the corrective surgery of the deformity coming from Turkey, and producing more problems upon this corrective surgery

I consider Dr Giotikas is far less than the real experts of CLL
Actually quite dangerous choice
There should be better options than him in EU

Temaki if not Dong hoon you can also go to Paley or Rozbruch for tibias. You can ask Dong hoon for opinion on Paley and Rozbruch.

I have already collected enough information behind internet not to choose them for tibias

Okay. Are you undecided on doing LL itself? Or are you still not 100% confident about DongHoon?

Rozbruch appreciates DongHoon

Paley appreciates DongHoon

Does this also mean DongHoon trusts Paley and Rozbruch?

Me blind really? You stopped making sense again.
Also if you have done enough research, why can’t you see the danger of Giotikas who actually is reported by a few veterans here that he lives in UK most of the time is not in Greece
Leaving patients behind, especially external frames patients far from where he is
This doctor lacks a moral a big deal

I’m already scheduled to do surgery with him
But I really think this CLL reality where I can only trust one doctor for tibias is no good for any patients including me
I keep researching inside Korea
There is other hospital which can be good in Korea
Here on English forum not enough information are revealed

I’ve seen something similar from other patients diary also

No, you need to get connected to korean locals and actual veterans
This is the same when doing any research of any doctor
I’ve luckily get connected to patients and veterans of all over the world
Also better to connect with people who had complications
They have soooo much information than who writes things in sugarcoats on this forum
