is external tibias in Russia a bad idea

From someone who is heavily considering price... I've heard conflicting things about the surgery .... there's plenty of people who regard it as cheap, successful, and with a doctor (Barinov) who has many years of experience.

But in my mind for the past few years... russia seemed like a nightmare.... if I were to consider this surgery I would want to do LATN and 5.08cm in tibia... theres talks of the entire thing being under 20k and its all just so tempting....

A lot of people go there to get LL done successfully.  I'd probably go there today given how questionable China has become since 2007.

Listen the price is kind of amazing.. the only thing is I definitely wanted to get 3 inches... but I also take issue with the appearance of my short calves... If I were to do tibia I would not breach 2 inches.. i just wouldn't ...

I just read stripes diary which literally took an hour and I'm pretty sure hes good now and he had his shortcomings but his diary is so raw so for anyone considering external or Russia in general I would check his out.. Russia is super attractive for the price..

My biggest fear with externals is that they fk up the measurements in length so often.... Stripes went from thinking he was 6cm...to 8cm... only to find out it was 7.2 cm from a clerical error at the end. That would simply not fly with me
