1. What physical objects do you wish you had brought with you for the lengthening phase?

2. What physical objects do you wish you had bought/ordered on amazon to have with you during the process?

3. What products aside from a laptop with netflix and also excluding obvious things like medical devices/pain killers/walkers did you find the most helpful for getting through this mentally/taking your mind off of the pain?

4. If you are doing max of 8 cm, do you typically book your stay at your place for 3 months and also book your flight back at the end of it? My only concern is that if something happens, it seems like you would need to make last minute arrangements to stay longer / cancel your flight. Is it typical for people to just plan to stay for 3 months though?

Get a some kind of grabber or hook for those little things you want that are just out of arm's reach.  There end up being so many of them during LL.

1. Thanks, it looks like the trigger style grabbers are popular these days on amazon https://www.amazon.com/s?k=grabber&ref=nb_sb_noss_2

2. What do you feel were the biggest negatives of going to China for your leg lengthening?

The biggest negative was the language barrier.  There was one person who did the translating for that whole place of 5 doctors, 8 nurses, and 8 caretakers.  Of those people, only the two young doctors who were in charge of minor things spoke English.  The translator also had numerous other duties around there as well.

! Wow! I guess this is a bigger negative than the external frames/ possibly dirty living conditions? I actually know a bit of Mandarin, not enough to really understand people but enough to say a few useful phrases.

I'm actually curious. It seems like India and China are not getting the stryde nail or even precise but some parts of Europe (Greece) are. I wonder if there is some business reason the Nuvasive company who makes the nails is averse to selling in some countries, maybe the laws?

As far as I know, cosmetic limb lengthening surgery has been banned in China several years ago. MDOW did it before it was prevented.  Some doctors in India use Precice a while ago.  I don't remember who they are.  Look for more info, if you are interested in this.  However, I am not aware of Stryde in India.

Well, internal lengthening at a nicer/cleaner facility would've cost more and I was already maxed out in terms of my budget, so I didn't think of those as downsides.

I think the availability of that cutting-edge technology might also have something to do with inequality in Asia compared to the more egalitarian EU.  The extremely wealthy in Asia will just go abroad for high end stuff, so the price of new technologies really has to drop before there's much of a market for them there.
