Welcome to the small-tall club Meck (178cm-183cm). You can recover 100% after months of rigorous training. Just stay consistent and you will get better no doubt. Do you think Dr. Buldu would allow me to attempt 10-12cm Femur LON? You completed 9.4cm at ~165cm, but I am 178cm currently. Given my budget, my top two choices right now are Buldu or Kulesh in Russia.

lol why you asking this guy for advice. he literally regrets his surgery and is complete crippled 6 months post surgery. My guy can't even stand up at all, how's he gonna fix his ballerina foot? no dorsiflexion boots, nothing. just lengthen and keep lengthening until "I WIN". disregarding the 10 other LL veterans in this thread telling him to stop lengthening. at least "I WIN" right?

my guy wants to shorten 6 cm, then fking lengthen again. this is why doctors need to set realistic expectations for their patients BEFORE giving them the surgery.

you win Meck, you win at being disabled for minimum 2.5 years before you can even walk normally again  ::)

My issue is not drop foot i can fell my foot move left or right move with fingers and and made push , this is drop foot on video and i have nothing with this issue

my issue call NEUROPRAXIA

Theres different levels of drop foot.
At first i couldnt move my foot at all.
Few weeks later i could move my toes up and down and foot sideways.
1.5 months i could move my foot down
And slowly after that i started being able to lift the foot up like dorsiflexion.

Either way just give it time. DO NOT undo lengthening!
You will just cause more harm to your nerves. Your body just needs time to heal

Lol sitting like a boss now eh? do you have any pain during the day? What do your doctor tell you about your recovery? What does he say about your procedure? when do you think you'll be back to normal?

Also please can you ask your doctor this : will you be able to lift weights once this is over?

Meck, your are trully a legend going from 163 to 180 is really a huge, huge improvement.
When you talk about 190 cm in your photos I guess its because the special shoes you are wearing right now, give you an extra 10 cm correct?

Hope you can keep sharing with us your progress. As you gain some mass in your legs, it would probably look better and better.
Congratulations.

Congratz Meck! Your legs and height looks great but becareful and continue to your daily exercises, as you know from now on, most important thing is your physical therapy. I hope your achillies tendon is fine now. But also do not push your self too much since you had both upper and lower leg surgeries very closely. Give some time to your body to heal. Do not rush and be patient ;) :D

Hi Meck, were you able to go/drive/fly home after the first days past surgery?

Some general questions about this LON method:
If people do fly home to lengthen at home, are they using crutches, or a wheelchair?

If the LON nail with proper usage of the crutches can bear enough weight to walk around at the airport, what keeps people from flying home?

When I see uploaded videos of people who barely walk,
at what stage are they within the LL process that makes walking most difficult?
-> Is it during final lengthening, or right after the operation, or something else?

I'm just wondering whether lengthening at home is an option after the OP, and if yes, is it an option only for few people whose pain level is low for some reason?

I read that some lie in bed with little pain, so I conclude:
-> The nail with crutches is weight bearing,
-> the pain is low,
-> hence the patient can fly home.
Is this accurate?
