Hi Meck, were you able to go/drive/fly home after the first days past surgery?
Some general questions about this LON method:
If people do fly home to lengthen at home, are they using crutches, or a wheelchair?
If the LON nail with proper usage of the crutches can bear enough weight to walk around at the airport, what keeps people from flying home?
When I see uploaded videos of people who barely walk,
at what stage are they within the LL process that makes walking most difficult?
-> Is it during final lengthening, or right after the operation, or something else?
I'm just wondering whether lengthening at home is an option after the OP, and if yes, is it an option only for few people whose pain level is low for some reason?
I read that some lie in bed with little pain, so I conclude:
-> The nail with crutches is weight bearing,
-> the pain is low,
-> hence the patient can fly home.
Is this accurate?
