Recovery time for 3cm LON
« on: October 08, 2019, 11:46:31 AM »

Planning on doing 3cm on either my tibia or femur LON next july.

Im 24, in good shape.

If I do the surgery on the 1st of July 2020, and lengthen 1mm a day, how long would it take for me to be out of frame and be able to walk unaided, it doesnt need to be a perfecf walk, just enough to get around. Limp is fine.

Approx what date would I be looking at for that?

Thanks guys

You can gain over 2cm by Pilates only
No need of surgery just lengthening 3cm

Recovery would be less than 5 months from the day of the surgery but i really suggest you to go for 5, not worth breaking 4 perfectly sane bones plus the pain and the money and hold everything in your life for 3 cm imho

The risk and recovery time, at least for tibias, to do 5 is much greater than just doing 3. It's not linear, the risk and recovery time increase exponentially when lengthening more.

3cm for each segment is way too much...i would do 0.5cm tibia and femur just for fun.

3cm is a waste of money, you might as well put a coin in your shoes.

Do at least 5.5cm or no point IMO
