Team/Friends - I really need your input on this. I am writing diary, contributing to this forum and expect that each one here will help each another, but very few people I see provide their valuable inputs when I ask questions which makes me wonder if most of us are here just to get knowledge and not to put any effort or offer anything. Anyway, that was my sincere concern and venting. Now my question -
I am doing LL on femur. While I can walk (with cane, even without cane but funny walk and cane provides security) to office and work, the problem I am facing is even on the nice comfy chair the office has my butts hurt soon. Maximum I can tolerate sitting in one go is like 1 hour (that also by forcing myself not to get up), so sitting is not comfortable (unlike lying on bed which is very comfortable). My question is - in my current role I have the option to get up and roam around any time I like I do not have a job that necessarily requires sitting for long time. BUT - in 3 weeks I will switch to something else which would entail me sitting for upto 2 hours in a stretch. So, do you have any advice? like are u aware of any special kind of chair or any special kind of cushion or sitting aid that helps ? or any other suggestion for this situation/problem? thanks a lot.
