50k budget and want to grow 4-5 inches.
« on: August 30, 2019, 06:01:05 AM »

Looking to do it during college, so I need to be back before 4 months lol.
I was looking at parihar, and since I'm Indian, I think it'll be pretty easy for me there.

Any suggestions? What's the fastest method?

i should add, the whole process doesn't need to be 4 months. Is there a way I can lengthen quickly (Fastest way discussed is nail?), and recover at home in Canada during Uni?

Simple, there is no way you can lengthen 4 to 5 inches within 4 months ... with any kind of method. Max 2-3 inches. With your budget i would go for stryde internal magnet nail.

What's the fastest option for 25k 2-3 inches then? I think I'll do the first surgery, then the second. I really need th 4-5 being 5'4 :(

Hey Dope

I am not trying to discourage you.  In fact, you really need to spend enough time to find out enough information and to build some knowledge about CLL.  This is a very serious surgery.  So build some background on CLL and ask more specific questions.  I am sure that other ppl including me will try to help you.

As others are saying, you need to do more research. You don't just throw money at a doctor and get your bones lengthened and go back to life. You have to lengthen, do PT (physical therapy) and recover so you can WALK again, and the recovery is different for everyone. Doesn't matter if you have 20k, 50k or 100k you can't get any lengthening and recovery done within 4 months. There's a lot of mental, physical and monetary preparation involved in CLL.

Minimum 6 months for lengthening, PT and maybe being able to walk without crutches if you heal fast and work hard at PT. Some people take 8months to a year to walk, maybe there are cases where it's even longer or even shorter.

I want this surgery as well, but I wouldn't go around saying I need it, albeit i know how you feel. If you need help on specific research/questions feel free to DM, I've done a fair amount of my own research. Just no money to proceed with it; you seem to be in the opposite scenario: have the money, not the research done.

So there isn't anyway to recover at home, and then get frames or nail taken out later? Dang it, I may have to take gap year or do it later then.

Bump. Will precice 2 be good for my situatio? I have 4 months to lengthen. Some people are saying 8cm only takes 2 months to recover.

my 50 year old lengthening friend did 5 Cm and was doing sports around 2 months after finishing lengthening, walking around 1/ 1 1/2 months. I think for under 6 CM recovery is very quick. For another lengthening friend who did 8 CM like me he recovered in 2 months.

There’s nothing for your budget to lengthen that much. The only way is cross lengthening which is not a great idea and will take probably a year and half of recovery.

For 25k you can do 5-6cm on tibia (the maximum) with giotikas. That’s about 2+ inches. Will probably take 9 months to recover

If you had 100k you can do stryde on femurs and tibias with giotikas and recover in maybe 6-7 months.

There is no option to recover in 4 months no matter what method or doctor

Thanks for the reply.

I think I will take a semester off and do precice on femur for 3 inches. 5'7 to 5'9 is a sizable difference, but both are worlds better than 5'4.

How much do you think precice 2 will take on femurs total? I think I'll have 7 months if I take a term off + summer.

Eh at 5’7 you’re not really considered that short anymore. With 1inch  lifts and shoes  you’re about average

You could do stryde with giotikas or parihar for under 50 and be walking like normal within 4-5 months

5 inches are too much, even for both segments.
For both segments, 50k is too few.

I think I'm going to do 3 inches on f emur with precice 2 then. Is it always going to give atleast 3 inches, or does it sometimes give less?

You may find a problem while lengthening and need to stop lengthening.

No point in doing precise 2, stryde is only like 5,000 more and you will recover months quicker and can walk after surgery and won’t have to risk nail breakage

I'm researching Canadian placesrn and yeah it's not that much more expensive.

What is the recovery time between the two? Can stryde go all the way to 3 inches too?

Be careful-with your current aim to find something fast and cheap you are seriously underestimating the LL process. Cheap Dr.'s without scruples who would be willing to do excessive lengthening in short periods is a recipe for disaster in a process that can go poorly even in the best of circumstances.
