What To Tell People?
« on: October 02, 2013, 10:48:37 PM »

One of the most underrated and yet most common issue,  How do you plan to explain being on crutches and being away for months?

Tell them I was messing around on a scrambler/dirt bike and I landed on a wall I was supposed to jump over. I had to pay for a new bike, which is why I'm low on money.

Guys we wouldn't go through a year long process if the results weren't blatant.

A while back I started experimenting with telling people about the surgery. All the men I tell think it's a great idea, but the women become angry. The other day at work I told a couple of people and this one woman went on about how dishonest it will be if I don't tell women what I've done. I anticipated her reaction because I had seen it before in other circles. Knowledge of the surgery negates any benefits derived therefrom because women see it as illegitimate.  I'm not going to tell anyone.

You should throw it back at the women that get angry and tell them that women lie all the time with their appearances: bras that lift their breasts, makeup, heels, hair extensions, MySpace camera angles, etc.

Hilarious.....

just teasing sweden. But in all honesty I would just say I fell of a horse. My original plan was to work my way up to 2 inch insoles, lengthen, then I would wear the flattest shoes possible for a while.. then work my way up again (1/2inch insoles, then 1inch, then 1.5, and 2.) then lenghten again. That way it wouldnt be such a drastic change.. more incremental. I can only wear 1 inch insoles at most though, maybe I wear the wrong type of shoes Idk.

I used to wear insoles but then I would get caught when I took off my shoes. After a while I just said to hell with it. If I do this operation I am just going to tell them all. I ain't too proud.

I believe that ppl don't really notice a 5cm increase in you height.
I have been wearing 5cm lifts.
after surgery (hopefully 8-10cm gain) I will take the lifts off. the effective height increase from other ppl's eyes will be just under 5cm.
Since they would not have seen me for 4 months while I lengthen, I don't see how they will really notice.

Just fyi, you should stop wearing lifts a few months before you go through leg lengthening. Wearing shoe lifts constantly leads to shortening of the Achilles tendon, and that's not something you want before lengthening.
