Ive decided to start taking these supplements, regardless if they are good for fracture healing or not, but in case they somehow might interfere with fracture healing (since the supplement is mainly to heal the joints) i wont start taking it until im done with LL.

I found this study that seems to indicate it has some good effect:

However this sentences confuses me:

"But radiologically, the control group had better scores than that of the glucosamine-treated group at week 4."

"but radiologic bone union is not favored on radiographs"

My first guess is that this means glucosamine is beneficial for fracture healing in the early stages, but at the later stages when the bone needs to connect with each end and solidify, it might not have any effect or even slow down the process.

Am i interpreting that correct? in that case i will take it for the first month then stop using it until my consolidation is done.

I dunno about it..
My Dr. prescribed for me a med called blind bone/ ostaquick/union total/ bone heal/ CQL
But I still didn’t find it in any pharmacy.. as he said (my Dr) it will help to speed up the consolidation
Anyway.. as a matter of fact I found calcitonin salmon nasal has good affect, I have been using it from month and my last x-ray shows much improvement in bone formation

Yeah i got something similar, its in russian language so i have no idea really what it is, they just told me it was for bone regeneration.

Okey that sounds cool, was it your doctor who recommended the calcitonin? not sure how i would get my hands on that on my own, i guess there must be a prescription required?

yes, he prescribed for me, I'm not sure if you can get it without prescription

I'm thinking now to try  this Silical® System plus Silical® Boost,
 I will still of course continue using  calcitonin spray..
