Hy everyone,

I'm a 29 years old 5'3 girl with a genetic curse.

As basically everyone among my family, I have giant calves. Male parents enjoy it, female ones not so much.

My calves are 18 inches around, and at my height are just disgusting. Yeah, I may be a little overweight (not more than 20 pounds) but my legs have ways been huge.

II'm tired of wearing long skirt, not to mention the psychological distress of it I know that I'll never wear skinny jeans, that's OK,  but I'd like to shrink my calves...let's say 2 inches.

If I'd underwent to LLS (5cm) in my tibia,  Could I expect my calves to shrink a little?

Thank you.

Never heard of anyone wanting smaller calves I must say haha.

Is it really worth all the mental, physical and financial pain? I think not in my humble opinion.

5"3 is a great height for a girl don't sweat it :)

Height is not a problem, 5'3 is fine.

But calves are waaaaaaay to big and yes, I'd like to shrink them.

If your struggle is not about height or leg shape (bow legs/knock knees) but the size of your calves, I'd instead spend that money on a personal trainer and nutritionist.

You can also check out the videos below and go at it on your own; as you can see many women struggle with this problem.

Oh trust me on this, CLL is not worth getting just for calves reduction. If you're thinking of lengthening your tibias, externals/LON will leave horrible scars that is almost impossible to remove and your goal of giving up long skirt won't be a good idea. Internal tibia has a high risk of permanent knee pain. You might as well look into other alternatives, perhaps calves reduction surgery or long distance running.

if this is true, ill be happy af.
i have huge thighs from squats and no matter how much i train calves, i can never get them bigger. they look so skinny compared to my thighs lol. so this is another plus for me to pursue external tibia ll lol

For calves, it's better first to consider non surgical methods such as botox or Non-incision Selective Neurolysis to reduce muscles.
Much cheaper and no downtime.
I've tried some botox to my shoulders muscle and significantly reduced the size, also the stiffness dissapeared.

Non-incision Selective Neurolysis:
