What do you think of 185?
« on: May 08, 2019, 01:59:32 PM »

Hi!

I know that my height problem isn't really a problem when I compare my height to others here but I still want to be taller. I exactly reach 185 (6'1) mornings and evenings, I don't have any height change in daytime. With shoes I'd say it's 187-188 (6'2) but I always feel like there is an inch missing because I see others with 190 (6'3) or more and I find this more masculine and attractive. I know that I that this is complaining on a high luxury level but I like to have the full package including a height like 190 (6'3).

What's your opinion to that?

Everything up to 6 ft 5(in 5 ft 9 to 6 ft 5) is suitable and in cool height range, 6 ft 1 - 6 ft 3 i think is in golden height range
And about your height change it can't be unchangeable during the day, unless you have some metal pit in your back

Let's say you are 180cm. It's a huge difference between 180 and 185.

With 185 you are kind of tall but not super tall.

Eh....I think you should take others below 185cm tall into account Cuz your height is actually enviable height.
Don't compare you to taller people. There're always someone taller than you.
But everyone has the right to do LL

185 isn't really average in Europe, in above average range, but for sure Western Europe and some Central European countries (like Germany, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Czech Republic, Poland ) have higher height standards

You're insecure bro.

185cm is tall everywhere in the world. I'm from Western Europe too, UK. 185 is tall. You probably just feel shorter because of your confidence, trust me it makes a difference. I'm 5'6, there are a lot of other people who are 5'6 that I feel shorter than or I feel 6 inches shorter than someone who is only 2 inches taller than me in reality.

Stop comparing yourself to only taller people. I bet you when you walk around for 1 hour in your city, you're taller than 95% of people. Average height in Germany is 178cm..you're 7cm taller. Simply just wear lifts and you'll be 10cm taller.

If your height is 185cm barefoot + shoes 3cm + lifts 4cm = 192cm.

If you want to compare yourself to the elite then; the average height of the German football team is 183cm, Vettel is 175cm, Schumacher is 171cm etc etc

I'll be honest with you. I also think 6'3 is pretty much the ideal height. 2 inches is a safe lengthening amount.

If you have the time and the money to do this, and mentally prepared for the procedure, I really don't see why not.

Is it a thing about comparing yourself to other men? I don't see why someone would want to do something as extreme as CLL to be 190cm. Using lifts when outside is the obvious solution.

Yes I do want to add, before doing this surgery, ask yourself if you have optimized your life to the fullest extent possible (job/career, personality, etc).

Yeah i compare myself to others and want to be more attractive.

What kind of lifts do you guys wear?

Lifts from Amazon which I bought for $9.99. They have layers. 1 layer by itself = 2 inch, 2 layers = 3 inches = 3 layers (only work in boots) = 4 inches. I wear 3 layers inside boots so when wearing boots I go from 5'6 + 4inch lifts + 1inch boot heel = 5'10.5. Or everyday I wear 5'6 + 1inch Nike shoes + 2inch lifts = 5'9.

If you wear 2 layers = 3 inches together then I recommend you wrap the lifts in a tight sock because when you're walking the layers can sometimes become loose and separate.

As Canon said before , he lives in Germany ,where height standarts are higher than in most of other countries accept maybe Netherlands or  Dinaric Alp region (where its even taller) average height in Germany 181 cm (i suppose young generation 16-27 y.o. is taller than previous one) also  ethnic germans are taller than minorities (like arabs turks africans or some other migrants)
So if Canon mostly communicate with younger germans ,his environment on a taller side of height standarts and thats why sometimes he can feels "not tall enough"
just make 5 cm internal femurs (as you told you wanna be 190)what is supposed to be really fast and use something to accelerate consolidation(like hgh or something like that)

I understand he lives in a country with higher height standards, but he's already above-average there.

Above-average people should just use lifts to become tall. He already has a gf. It's something about comparing himself to other men. Other men won't be seeing him without his shoes. It's better to save your legs and thousands of dollars; just wear lifts.

To feel tall you should reach higher by 5cm than average height of your surrounders',and for sure, without shoes. So if ur 190cm without shoes or inlays you must feel tall.

I have to say that with shoes an little inlays i feel tall enough. It's 187 only with sneakers and with inlays 189. My dream would be 191 without shoes but i will give this dream up. There are many 185 guys with a well built physique that look very tall. I focus from now on my physique.

Good for you, man. This surgery is expensive and sacrifices a lot of the normality you take for granted in daily life, besides all the time it takes.

Hi Canon
Congrats on changing your mind!  That is the best decision for you.  If anyone is at 185, they shouldn't consider CLL.  You will lose lots of things like time, money, athleticism, perhaps proportion (if you care), maybe friends/family, maybe job/career, etc and you will worry about your secret about CLL, if you do CLL.  I wouldn't do CLL, if I were a 185.  185 is very tall in most of countries and still a little tall in tall counties like Netherland and Germany.  Focusing on your development will make you more successful and more attractive!
I am very happy for you!

Get off the forums you fool. People here genuinly short who are struggling as is and you come in here at 185cm(which is giant in most countries) Find a hobby or something, you clearly have too much time on your hands.

Same dude. Everyone has their own reason to feel inadequate. At the end of the day, people who have it worse are those guys who’re are 5’4 or less and it gets worse as you go. I am 183 cm but I was this same height when I was 13. I wish I was taller and I want to be. I’ve been looking at this surgery since I was 16 and knew I wouldn’t grow anymore. My goal is 189-191cm. I know I should be grateful for my height and I am but I don’t see what is wrong with wanting to be taller. My only problem is I already have very long legs and my body proportions would look wonky if I go any taller tbh ex. Where my boxers start it’s like 103 cm off the ground. I wish I had a longer torso but oh well imma go at it none the less. Good luck on your journey bruh.
