It depends on the girl's height. 5'10 man claim 6'0 and 5'11 men claim 6'0, 6'1 all the time. Women who say they don't date men under 6'0 don't even know what 6'0 truly is.

Good to know. At 5'5.75, I regularly actually give the impression of being 5'7"-5'8" especially when I am on lifts.

Like it was already said, that depends entirely where you live. There's no true answer. People who are short in the US/Canada at 5'7" are not short in most of Asia.

Not only does it vary from country to country even in specific contexts. For example, women may be more stern in height requirements in clubs and online dating than if you meet them in real life. In the latter case, I find that many women would only require that you are taller than them.
