Surgery in 2019
« on: September 30, 2017, 10:42:24 PM »

I'm trying to find out who else here plans on doing surgery in 2019? I wanted to get a group together that plans on going around the same time (in 1-2 years). We don't necessarily have to go to the same doctor, just wanted to find people with the same goal date so we can motivate each other to save and stuff before the surgery and support each other during the lengthening.

Personally I might go to Pili in mid 2019 (june-july) but honestly I still haven't decided who I will go to, it always changes.

Anyone else plan on getting LL in 2019?

Im also planning to do it around 2019. im currently 26 and feeling like im running out of time. I dont have any savings right now but I have some real estate which I can sell. I might consider India or Russia as per my budget. (Vietnam is also a promising destination but I need more convincing) I'm an asian so Im not expecting high standards, india would be the best country for me

26 here too! I know what you feel bro. I'm still barely saving up.

It's funny you mention this because I've been thinking about this alot, for a 2019 date well probably be around age 27-28 when we get LL and when we'll be around 28-29 when we recover fully (to the point we can enjoy life). Yea it's not super young but it sure as hell not old. Luckily we're guys so we can still be "young" until at least the mid 30's probably longer. But yea its definitely something to think about

I'm considering doing tibia lengthening in 2018. I'm 150cm looking to get to 155cm.

I'm only going to get my CLL when I'm much older than that. Don't worry about those details, Zeo. I hope everything goes well for you guys getting it in 2019.

It depends on how much money I can gather and whether I want to end up going with stryde or not. Most likely i'll settle for precise 2.2 and try to go by the end of 2018. But if I end up doing 2019 i'll post here and let you guys know.

In either case probably won't go to Pili

I'm 24 and I work remotely so I'm planning on this in 2019.  Do you want to trade Facebook information because I don't check this site often?

Hi,

I am planning to either do it in 2019 or forget it. My prefer doctor is dr sarbjit in sg / dr lee in korea.
Hopefully to do the first consultation this year and make the appointment for surgery. Anyone going to the same destination?

hello everyone .. I'm almost 28 and I would like to do it before the age of 29.
I am Italian and for convenience and economic level I will opt for Giotikas, even though we have not yet had patient experiences with this doctor.
I heard, I hope well, that he will soon use the STRYDE too.
From what I understood it would be a benefit in terms of resumption to normal life and the possibility of avoiding long-term crutches with a resumption of self-esteem as soon as possible. And while remaining throughout the phase of the extension in Athens, being alone without a companion, it would therefore be a great thing.
Night height 168.5 cm
goal (evening) 175.5 cm (7cm extension to the femurs)

My first surgery external tibias is in October 2018 with Dr. Giotikas. The next one will be Stryde in 2019, also with Dr. Giotikas.

Feel free to message me.

Hey! How much are you hoping to grow in the end? And are you from Greece/why did you choose Dr Giotikas? Thanks!
