My proportions
« on: July 28, 2017, 11:10:08 AM »

So im interested in a leg lengthening but im unsure how my proportions will look after. Should i go for the femur or tibia based on these pictures?

My height is 163cm and my armspan is 170cm(bad or good?)

You have a little longer tibias than usual compared to femurs.
So doing femurs is the best for you

I was thinking the same. How much is possible to gain through LL? im 163cm so reaching around 175cm would require the tibia to be lengthened as well i suppose?

Yeah, you don't want to do 12 cm in one segment.

Although tbh I wouldn't really want to do more than 5 cm if I was doing 2 segments. 5 cm is the cut off point for the safest lengthening.

How does 173 cm sound to you?

Your arm span is pretty good, you won't need to worry about it. I'd advise against going more than 5 cm over it as a rule to most LLers, though (I think it begins to look noticeably short around that point).

.
You can reach 1.75 relatively safely with 6.5cm on femurs and 5.5 on tibias or even 7 and 5.
Go for it.

173 sounds great, everything close to 170cm would be a game changer in my life i believe.

Here is how i would look like with lengthened femurs and tibias. I dont know exactly how long i am in this picture but i think its around 175.

EDIT: had wrong pic before, here is the correct:
