Recovery time: femur vs tibia
« on: February 10, 2017, 09:00:37 AM »

Hi guys

I've seen a lot of people saying femurs heal faster over tibia surgery - in reality, if I did external femurs over tibias (all theory) what would be the expected recovery time for both?

Tibia tend to have a weaker bone, need to cut two bones and more complications expected. femur is a different story, its only one cut, longer bone (less percentage) and a quicker recovery as all experts say. I don't know about external femur, but internal femur is the new technology, stop riding horse while there's car, stick with internals, Good luck.

You should look into internal femur instead of external femurs.
