Hey people,

I'm currently planning on doing my surgery in summer 2018 with Dr Mitkovic in Nis (this is most likely), although I may decide to do it in Beijing or with Parihar instead, as they use internal rather than external devices I believe, which don't seem to take as long and are less painful for longer lengths. I'd like to do up to 7.5 cm on my femurs, and at the very least 5 cm, to bring me up to 178-180cm.

I'm wondering what sort of exercises and stretches I should do to prepare myself for the surgery, and also what kind of diet I should have, if you can recommend anything.

Are you doing yours on tibia or femurs?

If you are going to Beijing guys I'd advise you take a lot of protein powder and meal replacement. Il give you 2 weeks before you get sick of the fatty salty food.

Yeah, the only downside is they are more expensive and I might well not be able to afford them, so Serbia looks a lot more likely anyway. Supplements seem like a good idea.

Trust me the food in China isnt cheap either. If you are smart supplements will work out cheaper. Food in China was highly disappointing!!!

I lost 50 lbs in 4 months on a diet of primarily Indian cuisine with some pizza here and there. Food was good but I don't think it made much of a difference in the scheme of things. I think you can really eat or drink whatever you want aside from hard liquor.

Food wise I couldn't stomach anything out there eventually. When I came home I was like 147lbs in April last year I was 227 squatting 560lbs for reps. I lost muscle in areas I didn't appreciate I had it.

I weigh about 150lbs at 5'8 so I should probably put on a bit of weight before I head out.
