India height surgery
« on: December 26, 2016, 09:50:49 AM »

I am new here. I am a 5'5" male and that is torture..
Anyways, I was interested in a height surgery in Beijing http://www.leg-lengthening.com/institute.html but it will just take me too long to save 45k. Basically 50k seems to be a safe number for that place.. I wanted 10cm so I could be 5'9. 5'10-5'11 is what I would have wanted though..

I was wondering where one of the cheaper places I could get them at would be? I was thinking India since it costs around 10k but... do you think it is too risky? Any good places in India?

your budget will be good for these two places, but please forget about 10 cm for one segment, especially when you will not perform with the top doctors. We have some members here made this surgery in China, am sure they will help you with doctors, places and budget. good luck

The only doctor in India I would feel comfortable going to would be Dr. Parihar, but even then he is outside of your budget.
A lot of guys go to Russia and gain 7-9 cm in their tibias, but many of them end up stuck in their frames for well over a year with several problems during lengthening and afterwards as well.
Whatever you decide, don't let your eagerness to have this surgery override your better judgement. It's better to save up for 5 years and have a smooth ride when you finally go through it.
