With this it should not matter if SysOptheosis decides to take old forum  down, lock it up members-only or delete even more old topics and diaries - all old threads with diaries and other valuable information will still be available for reference. Too bad an archive like this wasn't created before he took away all the Sarin diaries, but who knew that could happen.

You can unzip this file using WinRAR, 7zip, WinZip and probably others. It is even possible to simply place the unpacked directory structure on a web server, and suddenly you have a surfable old forum  snapshot online. Put it up on a cheap VPS server or something. If you want a search function, there are probably a lot of software out there that can easily index these html files. Heck, even Windows' own search/find function can do that for you in a rudimentary way if you tell it to search inside files within all subdirectories.

it was when i lost some credibility points on old forum  after voicing out my comments that i realised thngs were not what they appeared to be at old forum .
